DEPRESSED - MUST GET 40 in V

I am depressed now.

I am losing my faith. I just don't seem to be improving my verbal ability. What can I do? I don't think I have ever owned it. So what makes me think that I can get one in 2-3 months time?

It depresses me that this is sort of like my first official step to the whole application process and I am already choaking.

So I can ace the math and do so soso on the verbal. If I manage to get around 700 then can I be comfortable? Or should I be concerned myself with getting at least 40 in V? Can I do it? Is it going to happen?

I got 2 weeks to get there. I just did Manhattan GMAT practice verbal Question Bank. And hit rate is about 60%. This CANNOT be true. I did OG 11th some SC and RC. It was DEFINITELY better than 60%. (about 85% hit rate. Still not comfortable...)

Am I just being paranoid? I don't think so!! I think I got a good reason.

Gotta focus. I need 40 in V.

I guess I will find out in 2 weeks.

Something very similar to what you have described, is happening with me too.... My best in Verbal so far has been 39 and i am trying hard to strech my limits... I just have more than a month before the D-day!!!

When are you taking the test?

Hey just try out more and more questions from ETS official guide on verbal, that's more than enough to have a good score in verbal section.Read the explanations of questions thoroughly, which you do wrong. All the very best to you.
