I can do better!
Thanks all for commenting my previous posting.
To Forrest Gump / Thanks Forrest Gump. I am definitely taking the GMAT again. I think I can do better. : ) I couldn't agree with you more on how verbal sec is a beast. Thanks for the encouragement.
To Ankush /
So you are writing GMAT again in July? Good luck to you. : )
To Clear Admit / Wow. Graham from Clear Admit, I am honoured that you visited my humble blog!!. I would like to take my GMAT ealier than Sept. But since the GMAT class that I am planning to take is running from July to late August, I think I am stuck with late Aug/ early Sept time line. I know it sucks because I much rather get it over with than anything. Thanks for your insightful advice and encouragement.
To Benny / As I mentioned above, I would like to take it earlier and get it over with but kinda stuck with that schedule because I am planning to take a prep course. : ) But thanks a bunch for your advice and encouragement.
To MBABlogger / Thanks for wishing me luck.
To John / I know. Mental block does that to ya. Hope you get the score you want if you are planning to take it again. : )
To Anonymous / I hope to do better next time. : ) Thanks.
To StressTensor / That's a great idea!! Definitely I will do that. Sorry for not writing to you earlier. : )
To AceNomad / Thanks. Glad that my postings have helped. Come back again. Hopefully I will have more positive postings by then.

So I am not sure if this is the best way to do it. I have run blogs elsewhere and when I respond to the comments, I just use the comments format myself. However, how Blogger dot com is formatted, I don't find it so user friendly (maybe it's just because I am not used to it).
Anyways, enough about last week's GMAT.
As I mentioned to Grahm from Clear Admit and benny and all others, I am planning to take a GMAT prep course. (I guess I mentioned briefly in my previous posting as well). I know it's expensive but I feel I can do better with a bit of help. (In other words, I don't think I can help myself any more. I need extra help! is what I am trying to say.)
The problem is that the course is from July to late Aug, so I can't retake my GMAT till end of Aug or early Sept. Man, my b-day is late Aug. I am not going to have any fun this birthday. I guess my birthdays haven't been exciting since I have turned 22 or so.
With more deadlines and essay topics coming out, I think I am going to focus on brainstorming for the essays for now.
Ah.. and there is PE/PEng registration. Dang it. Studying never ends. : (
Next posting, I will jot some thoughts on "Applying to HBS and Stanford... is it worth it?"
--> disclaimer: I must warn my readers. I am just an applicant. My insights have no depth whatsoever. They are mainly for the purpose of recording for myself. Nothing more. : ) But I would love for anyone to comment or to share their insights. ; )
Cheers!!

I have personally concluded that my application to HBS is not worth the fee. Though I love Stanford (and the Bay area basically) I am rethinking spending the $235 on their application.
I know the kind of people they like and I do not have that profile. Not yet atleast. By the time I do, it will be too late for my MBA. So ...
